BraveMaker Film Fest
The BraveMaker Film Festival is a highly-anticipated event that takes place in Redwood City every July.
This festival is a celebration of independent cinema and features a wide range of thought-provoking films, including documentaries, narratives, and shorts. One of the key highlights of the festival is the participation of major industry professionals from Los Angeles.

Submission Categories
Short Films
44 minutes or under. We are looking for BRAVE short films of all kinds. Each feature film will be paired with one to three short films. We will also have special programmed short film only blocks.
Feature Films
We are looking for BRAVE films of all kinds. Make us laugh, make us cry, scare us, make us fall in love, open our eyes to injustice, give us hope! Each feature film will be paired with one to three short films.
Web/New Media/Episodic/Music Video
Not a typical short film or feature? This is for you. We'd love to see your BRAVE music videos and digital series (up to three episodes in one video file).
Student Film (21 yrs old or under)
Must be an enrolled student (middle school, high school or college) 20 years old or under when the film was shot).
Bay Area Short Films
Films made by Bay Area Filmmakers or Films made in the Bay Area.
Short Shorts
Shorts 5 min and under only. Any Genre accepted.
